Isn't Renamon and company "gen 3" Digimon? I feel like the second and third picture should be swapped, but I guess I don't know enough about Digimon.

but i guess op did this switcheroo so it'd better fit his """""""theory"""""" since tamers (2) is considered by many the best, 02 (3) a shit sequel to a great first iteration, and frontier (5) a weird place where the digimon are the chosen children. haven't watched the others to comment on them

I think that early Arc-V was a lot better than XY, or the whole G6 for the matter. Acv-V problem were the overextention of the Synchro Arc, making the side characters worthless, rushed ending and the fucking crossover being the only action field.
