Well there would have to be a way to determine a "Dominant" Beldum/Metang. Otherwise the evolution would have random stats/nature/etc.

Not that hard. You want a shiny metang? Need 2 shiny beldums. Yes it's hard, but that's how it should be imo.

As for stats, you could just make it so that the nature is picked randomly from one of the two Beldum, and IVs are just the average of the two Beldum IVs.

Well, that depends on how you feel about Mantyke needing a Remoraid to evolve.
