I dunno. Coming off of DP it was a lot less appealing to a good portion, Ash got a hard brain reset, barely evolved his Pokemon, and got BTFO'd by some rando with a Lucario, there's also Cheren already being a gym leader while Bianca is still in her BW state. Did Zekrom even do anything worthwhile in the anime? I've followed the show since Johto and didn't get into the main games until Gen V, and while I enjoyed the games, I was merely watching the show just to see my favorite Pokemon that gen animated.
