Dawn is literally a better version of May though, she actually earned her victories unlike May who bullshitted her way through contests with Skitty's Assist and Munchlax's Metronome.

Skitty/Duslops was crap but Skitty/Jynx was a planned out victory. May kept using Assist so she would get Fire Spin which was super effective against Jynx. Likewise she didn't get it right away because it got string shot and vine whip prior.

Also Munchlax never won a single Contest battle, so I don't know why you're bringing up Metronome. The only time Munchlax wins a battle is against Harley's Wigglytuff in the GF but that's because it used Focus Punch on it, it had nothing to do with metronome.
