Core pairs/remakes sell 13-16m copies, 3rd games sell 7-8m copies. 3rd games lack new Pkmn and they don't have an old region that is fresh to young players like remakes. The key selling point of 3rd games is battle facility(s). If there is no PWT or BF in USUM, they will lose 2m+ copies in sales. Is Masuda stupid enough to put tens of millions in profit down the toilet? Who knows...
