V and VI are pretty tied. The inputs on VI for the menus are smoother and have better audio and visual feedback, and the battles themselves are a bit flashier without sacrificing much speed which gives more stimulation. But there's some nasty framedrops, while V gets some noticable slowdown in Triples and Rotations, or Doubles with the right Pokemon, VI can get them in pretty much any format and it's definitely rougher no matter what.
