Did anyone actually watch this episode?
This not only including fans but TCG illustrators, spin-off devs and so on.
Ditto's face staying the same is a HANDICAP that Duplica's Ditto struggles with, it is not how all Ditto transformations look like, and it is even fixed by the end. Ditto transformations are not supposed to be distinguishable from the real thing, yet people miss this aspect all the time.
