I'm trying to catch pokemon in ORAS but it's impossible

I'm trying to catch pokemon in ORAS but it's impossible because I always one shot the pokemon no matter what i use. How can I get around this? I haven't caught any pokemon in 3 zones because of this.

also, try using another pokémon to weaken them or use a mon with false swipe

Buy a shit ton of pokeballs and just chuck em at the Pokémon right when the encounter begins. Use better pokeballs if you're catching higher level 'mons. I don't even bother with trying to weaken them anymore, I just keep a hefty supply of balls on me at all times.
