I had a love-hate relationship with Conkeldurr (being a Machampfag myself) but catching a shiny Gurdurr in Y sealed the deal in considering Conkeldurr a total bro

Beautifly, Tentacruel, and Shiftry in OR.

Normally I'm averse to catching early stuff because i know I'll ditch them, but I decided on playing traditionally this time and I was surprised by how good it was.

Same with Tentacruel, I was so tired of seeing it and went for water types I liked better. On a whim I decided to use it and it didn't disappoint.

And I liked seedot line fine, it was just tricky to train. I caught early with beat up which made training it much easier to reap the results of a cool Pokemon

Crobat. I used to avoid any Zubat I encounter, but after using a Crobat in a Nuzlocke Run, I now think he's bro tier.

I hated his ugly face but he miraculously saved me against the champion Iris in White 2. Since that moment I even started to like his design.

Zubat's entire line. Used to get so annoyed at them that I would just insta-box them. Then I ran into a shiny Zubat and decided the pokegods had decreed that I HAD to raise a Zubat.

Fast forward about 20 levels and Crobat's blizting everything in sight. Brobat for life.

I never hated Ardidos, i always found its design interesting, but never cared about using it because its stats are so low. Then i caught one and trained it just so i could have Shadow Sneak and Sucker Punch against Morty. It was a bro for the rest of the game.
