What is your favorite "aquatic creature living in sand" Pokemon? What other animals do you think would apply well to this concept?
>>33289076
I want this, and I want it to be as huge as wailord. Hori sheet
>>33289059
It's hard to pick a favorite, but I'd probably say Krookodile > Hippowdon > Garchomp
Sand squid or sea serpent would be cool, or especially more of a plesiosaur for the latter. If there were a Lapras native to some non-Kanto region that adapts to a desert that'd be cool.
>>33289059
krook > chomp > hippo
a flightless sand cormorant or some other bird (like a penguin maybe) could work
>>33289059
Sand Reptile or sand Snake or anything like that.
You shouldn't limit your imagination to animals.

>>33289089
God-tier
>>33289076
I will name it Jhen Mohran and there's nothing you can do to stop me.
>Krookodile is based on the slender-snouted crocodile
>they can reach up 14 feet in length
>Krookodile is 4'11"
Why is Krookodile such a manlet?
>>33289205
I mean, I wouldn't stop you. I'd fucking do the same.
>>33289059
Garchomp for me, because while they're all great, Garchomp does the most with changing up the animal to match the environment while Krookodile is just a robber croc and Hippowdon is just a holey sand hippo.
I'd love to see a sand-squid; cliche, obviously, but it would be pretty cool.
>>33289187
I want to say this is bait, but I've seen people this dumb before.
>>33289059
I think you're forgetting someone.
>>33289076
This is painfully Hoenn.
>>33289218
It's almost like one is a biped while the other is a quadruped
And no, it's based on the gharial which can reach up to 20 feet (though this is rare and most are 11-15 feet)
>>33289059
Before 3D models, Hippowdon. After, Krookodile
>>33289306
>>33289280
>Based on Godzilla
>Godzilla lives in the ocean
You know, I legitimately never put that together before now. Huh, neat.
>>33289325
give me one official source that ttar is based on godzilla
protip: you can't
>>33289325
>>Based on Godzilla
whipe this meme from the face of the earth
A sand narwhal that uses a drill to excavate sand
>>33289487
Steps on Excadrill's toes.
aquatic/amphibious animals that swim through sand instead of water is one of my favorite concepts no matter how nonsensical it seems
>>33289446
>>33289468
>Rock-type
>original Godzilla costume was made out of concrete, so rocks
>sand causes damage over time, sorta like the radiation that Godzilla constantly emits
It totally fits you guys.
>>33289487
Smogon made a Fakemon that's exactly that
>>33289446
Pokestar studios makes a rather compelling point.
>>33289446
Also, its Japanese name, Bangiras, sounds like Gojira
>>33289288
I don't think that's a problem.
Sand dolphins that hunt prey by blowing sand in their faces.
>>33289280
Lives in the mountains. I wouldn't mind seeing it walk through sand, though.
>>33289738
More like Anguirus
>>33289076
Ickett Bagge, I have come for my accordion!
>>33289738
>Bangiras sounds like Gojira
are you retarded? hahahaha
can we pretend stunfisk counts because it gets sand veil, even though it technically lives by the seaside instead of the desert?
