After a month or two of ORAS shitposting before the game came out, one of the things I was worried about was them messing up the leader themes. There was a little clip of the slateport museum scene in Japanese. It only went up to when the horn starts playing. It was nice, but it wasn't too impressive. Finally, the part of the theme with the base drop onward came out in another trailer. Suffice to say, I was really pleased.

Honestly, I like this way better than Hoenn's Frontier Brain music.

Hands down, the Totem Pokemon battle theme. No other track in the series manages to get me as pumped as that one.

USM's wild theme seems great, I really wanna know how the Totem theme sounds in that. If they make a horrible fucking mistake and replace trials/Totems with Gyms, I'm gonna be really fucking sad. Unless the Leader theme ends up being a good eargasm, then I can forgive them.

The problem is that Totems were just watered down gym battles.
I at least wanted a little challenge if they were going to pretend to change something.
