How would you take the concept of Roaming legendaries and make

Here's an idea!

Don't have annoying roaming Pokemon.

i always found the randomness fun as a kid. just added to the mystery of the games i suppose.

It's admittedly annoying at times, but I like the idea as a whole. It makes catching legendaries more interesting when they're not all statues hidden in some random cave.

Yeah that's my entire thought process. Roaming legendaries is a good idea to make them more fun to try and catch, but there are a lot of ways they could make the mechanic more fun

Because running back and forth between two routes and checking your map for half an hour is so much more deep and entertaining

Having the ability to always track them is good enough. Gen 4 did it right.

I didn't like the randomness in Gen 4, but the bottom screen map definitely made matters better. If Roamings come back in any form, I think a bottom screen map tracker should come back with it. Or a map in the corner if it happens on Switch.
