Yes... Google Dolphin and trading to GBA cart, done it quite a few times to RNG for Wishmaker Jirachi and also obtain Ageto Celebi

Mind elaborating on the former/cable emulation method? Google didn't return any fruitful results, except for a few useless links and stuff regarding VBA trading.
Regarding your second post, you mean I would have to purchase something like this, transfer my Pokemon to it on my computer, and then physically trade through two different Gameboys? Sorry, I'm fairly new at this.
