I had exp share disabled and did no grinding because I ran right to the red flag like a good boy, and still found the game pathetically easy. Totems all died in 1-2 hits except Mimikyu which took 3. Never felt any danger or tension at all. E4 went down without so much as a whimper. The game was piss easy.

Nah, hapu was fine. Beat her first try and finally got my Vikavolt from that battle. I mostly had trouble with Lusamine's clefable in ultra space, the league (for which I had to grind all my mons to at least level 50, they were 46 at best), and fucking dexio afterwards, which was blocking the only worthwhile grinding spot.

I'm not going to put my denial goggles on this time and say it'll most likely evolve into a Brionne, if not even further beyond.
