My pokemon crystal says "time not set" in the menu.

My pokemon crystal says "time not set" in the menu. Does this mean it needs a battery replacement? It doesnt seem to be the normal internal battery death message.

Means your battery is dying. Means It's having trouble retaining the time, but will fully erase the savefile in the near future.

I recommend looking into backing up your savefile or Pokemon
