It depends entirely on the quality of the voice acting, really.

Voice acting? Augh, no!
The only "voice acting" I ever want to hear in a Pokemon game is them making grunts/cries/shouts/etc. as they battle, and that's it.

Well, if this is game's voice acting is anything to go by... Ugh.

I don't think Voice Acting will happen, since they'd have to jam a cartridge full of voice clips for each and every language they include.

If they did add Voice acting, it would be a far bigger game - the audience would have to be shifted up in the age range to accomodate such a dramatic shift in style.
It couldnt be on a cartridge, with the amount of data it would take to make the entire process worth it - so that means a console and/or pc game.
As the first reply said: No VA is better than bad VA. We've all seen examples of games ruined by the voice acting.

BOTW was on a cartridge, and they had VAs for the cutscenes, which is all they really needed. pokemon games dont need voices for EVERY bit of dialogue

I havent actually played any zelda games, so I dont know the full details but i assume 90% of the games is just combat interspliced with HYAH!
Pokemon seems to be trying to tell bigger and better stories ever since BW so if GF ever did decide to add voices, they would go all out with it.
Then again, i could be wrong.

Pokemon stadium and stadium 2 were the one with the best VA

But I don't give a fuck about VA at this point they should invest on the postgame not stuff like VA
