I was a senior in high school October 98. Pokemon was better. It started to decline around Crystal, but didn't get super disappointing until Iwata died.

Pokemon is still decent. But it was undeniably a stronger franchise in its hayday.

This is such obvious bait, but it's so wrong that I can't help but correct it, so here we go.

S/M are arguably the worst Pokemon games yet. The straw that came with my Frosty from Wendy's is less linear than these games. You can barely explore without some fucktard on a Stoutland driving you back. The new Pokemon are trash, and the Rotom Dex is a terrible use of the bottom screen, at least compared to ORAS' dexnav.

The best things about them are the music and characters, so you might as well just watch a YT playtrhough and save yourself the money.
