Why get hype? So I can get disappointed all over again? Hype always exceeds the reality. Even if the game turns out somewhat decent, we're still expecting more because we're riding the hype wave. And, yeah, it's partially our own fault, but still. On the other hand, its hard for me to be disappointed if I have no expectation going in.

Making games for "people that has not played before" is killing the series.

This. I don't get why the people here judge how good a future pokemon game will be based off of who is directing it, as if the director came up with every concept for the game on their own. The director is entirely in charge, and people's ideas change overtime.

While B2W2 were my personal favourite, im very certin that unno did not come up with everything for the game.

I liked SM but it felt very content lite. Give me more content for USM and I'll be very happy

USUM has a much taller order than BW2 had to fix their previous game. And BW2 more than passed that bar, it shattered it into a million pieces and gave us things that we didn't even want/expect.

With USUM the bar is:
>Fucking finish Alola, make the entire map explorable, no more teleporting between the entrance and exit of an empty volcano, no more 5 second long routes, actual exploration, an actual victory road
>Reduce the handholding, make cutscenes essential to the (new?) plot only
>Add a proper endgame, with gyms and a complete battle facility like the BF or PWT

Anything else is a bonus. Fail any of these and it'll be shit.
