Guzzlord looks kind of like Wario to me and he's my favorite Mario character, pretty much husbando-tier for me plus Guzzlord has this cuteness thing going on. Didn't think much of it until I played with it in Refresh and that's where it won my affections.

That being said, I generally tend to like the creepy/ugly mons because I am usually able to find something appealing to them.

Not completely sure, I hate object-mons and when I saw him for the first time I was like ”what the fuck is this piece of shit, well at least is better than a bunch of garbage or an icecream". Then I saw his moveset and BST I decided to try him and endeed up liking the whole concept. 8/10. There are a lot of pokemons that almost choose for mine. Gen 2 I couldnt decide between Scizor and Azumarril, ended choosing the bunny cause It was my bro before realizing Scizor Is god-tier pokemon (specially Shiny). Oshawott is my favorite 5gen starter. Dunno, I like your choises
