just run scald on every single pokemon you use if you're that worried about it that much

Freeze only becomes a problem if GF add a move with a high chance to freeze. It's so rare that it's almost irrelevant right now.

Pokémon is primarily a single player rpg with some multiplayer features. It will never reach e-sport levels of balance. The only reason official tournaments and slight rebalances towards popular smogon mons exist it's because it's profitable.

My opponent's last pokemon was glaceon and mine was blissey. He froze me and got me down to 20 hp before I unfroze, used softboiled, then immediately got frozen again and it killed me.
