USUM is alternative story (like Emerald or Crystal)
BW1 had big, very well developed region with 25-30% of the region to explore post game
SM has a small, unfinsihed region with 20% of the smallest island to exploree post game


Of course USUM wont be BW2 level

And Emerald had half a year. There's no salvaging Alola anyways, so if they can just give us a good Battle Facility experience we're as set as we can be. Sadly I don't think they'll go for it, they'll probably fall for the PWT meme because nostalgiabucks are one hell of a drug.

If you go strictly by release dates. HGSS also only had 1 year development time and that had just as much content as BW2.
