Jesus fuck. Say what you want about Ohmori's directing skills but at least he's optimistic about the future. Masuda just feels like he wants to give up but has to keep going out of obligation. It's honestly a blessing that he's given his directing seat to Ohmori, who's still young and fairly new with fresh ideas, even if some of them don't pan out that well. It's almost sad to think that he will probably end up with the same despair as Masuda after twenty more years of Pokemon.
