Basically, Swordbro is a tripfag that requests his waifu Rukia with pokemon and is intent on creating a full collection of her with every single pokemon. He has a very divided opinion here as for some he's a seemingly cool and normal guy, and for others he's a huge shitposter and rampant cancerous blight. You have to really pick your poison on this because either way you're going to be polarized.

A less subtle shitposter that has outright demanded things to drawfags on their discord, rudely insulted several artists, and (just like swordbro) now pals around on /b/ to make requests and only comes here to shit up the place. Another one of those polarizing figures that don't offer but instead take from everyone around them like an autistic vampire.

Way less subtle than they think they are, Panda spends most of their time requesting Dawn with all of her various ethnic names to elude filters and plays victim a lot (just like Swordbro in that way). Third and final of the polarizing figures.
>Rampant hate for artists
A lot of anons come here expecting or asking for free art, as we should and is the point of the thread. The problem is that when someone else gets a delivery they are morally opposed to, anons take it upon themselves to deliver 'justice' in the form of shitting on them, samefagging loud minorities, and outright telling artists to leave. This is toxic and lowers the return rate of several artists and just takes away from thread quality.

Because of this, many artists either get shit on for not drawing things they would otherwise not draw as no one knows, and many dozens of requests remain dusty and unloved because no one is aware of the drawfags that are present. that may or may not want to do them or even who to ask.
To provide an example:

This seems well and good but in a lot of cases it's

>Anon 2, 3, and 4 berate the artist for drawing a shitmon and not their preferred request, followed with relinks
This is unhealthy, but at the same time drawfags often don't provide us any information as to what they want or are willing to give, so we can only shake our fists and beg for them to do our special idea.
Drawfags, we know you don't have a high opinion of us, and it's understandable as to why.
On the whole we can be rude, crass, hateful, and outright filthy people, but when an idea strikes you and you are overcome with the desire to see it brought to life, we SHARE that joy with our ideas from time to time.
So the drawthreads suffer because of bad behavior, polarizing figures, and no one having any information to use for organization.

My suggestion to improve this is as follows:
1) Stay out of drama related to polarizing figures
2) Bring back Artist Trainer Cards (hell, have a few artists work out the best design for everyone's easier use)
3) Try to remember every Drawfag is a person with feelings, insecurities, and desires just like everyone else and aren't machines or children that need to be coached into performing the way you want.

We can only make /vp/'s drawthread great again together.
