>there are people who haven't realized that Gen 7 is a Filler Generation that exists solely so they could celebrate the 20th Anniversary and obtain dosh to quicken the process of developing Generation 8 for Switch
As soon as the series makes the move for Switch, Nintendo's gonna be printing even more money and the reception of the series in Japan, which is the only audience GameFreak truly cares about, will skyrocket back into overwhelmingly positive reception.
Definitely feels more like a stopgap than a true step forward. I've felt like this for a good minute.
It's not an impressive as a 3DS game, and it's missing essential features from past Pokemon games. It feels more experimental than celebratory or progressive. Switch will see the next true evolution of the game.

Just like gen 6 was a filler generation for gen 7 to celebrate the 20th anniversary? So much that gen 6 didn't had a 3rd version, right? Also
>don't worry about XY guys ORAS will be better
>SM will be bettter
>USUM will be better
>Gen 8 will be better
You must be new.

I never implied Gen 8 would be good.
I implied it would restore Pokemon's fame in Japan, since aside from blatant cocksuckers they aren't all too happy with the direction Gen 7 took with the games as well as the reveal of Dusk Doggo.
