So how do people think the next Mallow episode will turn out, will she get her much needed development or will she flop again. Based off the title and summary I actually think she will actually be the focus this time and will get some development with the episode showing how she is with her family and developing her bond with them, problem is I don't know if she can hold an episode with her bland personality with anything we learn about her and any development she gets being small and boring, this is pretty much the last chance I'm giving her to prove she can be an interesting character.

Also looking at the summary for the Lana episode it looks like she might be shafted for Ash like Mallow is and her learning the water type Z-Move might be similar to Bounsweet evolving.

Lycanroc will probably help find Mallow in S/M 39
Lycanroc will not appear in S/M 40 since he is useless underwater as a Rock type.
I don't see Lycanroc doing anything in a car race on S/M 41.

And there was I hoping to see multiple battling episode involving Lycanroc after its evolution.

Not everyone who hates S/M series are XY fans.

I don't like XY series ether but that doesn't mean I love S/M Series.

S/M series problem come from Alola as a region as whole.
Not to mention the lazy writing of the show, the Producer tried to promote this as a school anime yet their didn't put a single effort into making Alola school more like real school.
Its as if the series is written by noobs that never went to a real school in their entire life .
Then there is the shitty artstyle that made all the character less attractive then they originally were.
Not to mention, Ash is competent but he is too over-expressive even compare to his original self.
Also, Gen VII doesn't have any good pokemon for Ash to catch except the starter.
I was excited when I learned about Ash getting a special 3rd form Lycanroc.
But it turns out this so called 3rd Lycanroc is just a recolored Midday Lycanroc.
In fact, I am staring to wonder if this Dusk Lycanroc will have anything special compare to other two lycanroc or he will be just a clone of Midday Lycanroc.

Plus, There is nothing for Ash to do beside battling Kahunas! There is no gym or League that can fulfill Ash's goal.
Furthermore he is not taking all the trial ! He just taking one Island trial per Kahunas.

Stop blaming XY fans for hating S/M series.
Instate Kalos league conclusion of XY series made S/M series even more unbearable to watch.

As one of the sane Pokemon fans here, i think we can all agree on three things.

(1) XY was a great series, with great battles and character dynamics and featured a Satoshi that is similar to Red in look and design. It was very popular and everyone loved it. It made these threads popular.

(2) Sun and Moon is also an awesome series. Returning to formula and having Satoshi act like a ten year old on vacation, while keeping his bad ass battling style and an improvement of animation after XY. Sure the art style is kinda goofy at times but that doesn't mean it's a bad series. And while XY team felt like a family, The Sun and Moon team feel like a group of classmates and interact well with each other.

(3) The only ones who keep bashing the XY and Sun and Moon series are the "DUB" fans who watched the botched scripts, emotionless acting and bad music copies of these episodes. They bash the family dynamic of XY because of dub voices, bad acting and script changes and they bash Sun and Moon for the same as well as edits.

All of the sub fans here are the ones who made this thread popular and the Dub fans are continuing to come here and shit on you. This is the situation.

One of the problem with Quadruped pokemon is their inability for Close combat.
Since they has to use all their four legs to support their body so they can't not fight very efficiently in Close combat.
Imagine a close combat fight between Midday and Midnight Lycaroc.
You can agree that Midnight Lycanroc having more advantage since he is bipedal so he can move more efficiently then Midday Lycanroc and can easily punch him while Midday Lycanroc need to use all his leg to support his body.

That why Dusk Lycanroc quadruplet body worries me.

Anon Ash still has two Pokemon that are/will become bipedal, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Lycanroc will be a bite move user while (assuming they evolve) Decidueye will focus on kicks and cuts and lastly Incineroar that will use punching moves. And Cheeto Doggo will surely not be completely useless in close combat, we just have to see how it battles.

Decidueye may kick but he lacks a good fist or arm to punch.
Incineroar can punch but his legs are so short that I can't imagine him kicking.

Yeah it's a bit sad but at least the two balance eachother out this way. Alolan-Sandshrew might be a good catch since it can use claw moves and get physical with Iron Head but then again it can neither kick or punch. There really is very few Pokemon that fit Ash in Alola.

First we wouldn't need a league in Alola anymore since Ash already won one..
The anime wouldn't need to depowered Kahuna so Ash's could beat them.
It could have been like a Pseudo-champion league where Ash faces of Kahuna's.

But now the series need to create a real official league that is worth winning.

Specially after Ash losing the kalos league to an undeserving pig and force to release his only equivalent of Megevolution to fix that pigs mistake while the guilty pig get away with everything without suffering any consequence of his own mistake.
It leaves a very bad taste and a filler series like S/M series only make it even worst.
