Hey guys!
I've recently been playing through pokemon emerald again and i've been debating picking up XD gale of darkness because I would like to get the zangoose from there to farm ribbons through each gen up to sun and moon
If I wanted to soft reset for a decent nature in XD is that possible? I don't know much about the shadow pokemon mechanic so or soft resetting on the gamecube so I was hoping you guys knew some stuff about ribbons and could help me out

You could just google the answer in half the time it took you to make this thread.
But yes, the nature is set when you encounter the Pokemon. So you can't save before purifying it and SR, but you can save before fighting the trainer who owns it for the first time and go from there.
