It's Midday slowly turning to Midnight, like the dusk itself. Why would you want a radically different pokemon that strays from the idea?
Dawn form is going to be mostly Midnight with some elements of Midday, like the dawn creeping out of the night.

Lycanroc Midday and Midnight are already recolors of each other, it's just harder to notice because one of them is standing up

If Dusk was standing up you'd call it a Midnight recolor

Also, considering the fact that it's meant to be based on evolving during a sunset shows it leaves little room for creativity in how it would look. That being said, the design for the dusk form looks bland no matter how you look at it.

There's no animation changes. No changes in personality. It's using the same model base, with only one difference. The texture, aside from the changed color, is exactly the same. If it was more like this, I wouldn't be complaining much, because it's changed the stance, added some more details from the Midnight form, and is actually Midnight's color. The shit Game Freak went with lazy as fuck.
