Gen IV evolutions were a mistake.

Dusknoir is a truly abysmal Pokemon. Its highest physical STAB is 60 BP (Shadow Punch), and its attack is only 100. Without Power-Up Punch (no longer a TM), it has no way to boost its attack is to use Z-Moves, like Z-Will-o-Wisp. Idiotic.

I agree that the stats could have been distributed better. However, Dusknoir is not outclassed by Dusclops, since it atleast has some offensive presence, doesn't become useless after a Knock Off and isn't total set-up-bait for everything carrying substitute and special attackers in general. Come on, I too think Rhydon looks better than Rhyperior, but you have to admit that eviolite Rhydon is pretty shit in battle, Rhyperior at least has its uses. Just imagine how strong it could be if it had received more than +50 to Rhydons BST
