Best / Worst inanimate object Pokemon.
Magneton is a perfect example of Pokemon having no animal or human characteristics but still being really likeable.
What kind of objects would you like to see as Pokemon in the future?

Needs levitate. Analytic is a wasted HA.
>>33191090
It doesn't completely lack human traits. The eyes are probably the most important part of a being when it comes to communication with us humans. Magnemite/Magneton's eyes are quite expressive!

(cont.) just look at other Pokemon which share considerably more human characteristics (or are just not based on inanimate objects ), but have dull/liveless eyes and therefore seem "less likeable".
For example Shedinja, Elgyem, Whismur, Swalot, Regigigas etc

I disagree, those Pokemon are disliked because of their competitive viability and not necessarily their designs. Also the eye thing is bullshit, pic related.
>>33191090
Chandelure > Magenton in literally every way.

OP talked about inanimate objects and why they can be likable ALTHOUGH they allegedly have no human traits.
I said eyes are most important when it comes to human traits, so it's no surprise we perceive something like Magnemite as more human than we might think since it shows more emotions than many others mons with objectively more "human/animal characteristics" (my examples).
I also said the Pokemon I listed were "liked less", and not "disliked". Big difference.
Funny you chose Chandelure as an example. It's dead glowing eyes are a major part of its design and are pretty expressive. Just look at your pic. Pokemon whose eyes don't mean anything are less relatable, Chandelure is not one of them obviously.
Pokemon with competitive viability are always popular, but I thought we were talking about design and character here.

>in literally every way
Landorus used earthquake!
Chandelure fainted!
Magneton endured the hit!

Post an animate object Pokemon you like / dislike or fuck off.
Cryogonal is underrated, I wish it got a mega over Glalie.
>>33194082
I wish it was an Ice-Ghost type
Maybe with the a Mega?
>>33194275
>the a
fucking hell
I love these guys. Special shoutout to the Magnet, Porygon and Gear lines.
Contrarily though, I really cannot get intoKlefkei, at all.
How do you do my fellow objectmons?
>>33194355
So weird at first I thought it was an Ultra Beast
>>33194364
But did you get the joke?
>>33194374
Havent played Sun and Moon so no.
>>33194391
Oh, well alright then
>>33194355
I mean, it still counts as an objectmon. Just cause it's actually a mon possessing an object doesn't make it any less of an objectmon. Otherwise the Rotoms wouldn't count as objectmon, and they definitely are.
>>33194407
Well the thing isDhelmise isn't even possessing the object, it just wears them, the Pokemon is literally just the seaweed.
>>33194355
I fucking love this guy, my #3 all time favorite pokemon. Design is one of the most creative in the series.
>>33191090
>shit is flying/levitating
>hit by earthquake/Magnitude
Fuck off.
>>33194082
Cryogonal has honestly one of my favorite designs and I'm sad when I see all the hate /vp/ has for it.
You fuckers would love it if it was strong!
>>33194424
It's main design aspect is still the wheel/anchor. Dhelmise will always be known as the "anchor Pokemon" just like Vanilluxe being the "ice cream Pokemon" not the "icicle Pokemon".
>>33194082
Cryogonal isn't any more of an objectmon then Geodude.
>>33191090
>>33192400
>>33194355
bros, objectmons get too much hate
>>33194355
>>33194424
huh, never realized the eye is just a compass
>>33196220
I actually agree. He's my angry snowflake.
I have a shiny magneton but I like him so much more than magnezone so I just throw an eviolite on him instead. How pleb am I?

This thread came at the right time, I just found this on Twitter and it's absolutely horrifying. View at your own risk.
