Nah, I like that they keep the types qualitatively in their moves. It would be extremely boring if every type had a 95 BP 100% accurate vanilla attack. Not to mention thematically stupid for things like Bug and Normal.

Beams were nerfed to 90 BP in gen 6, and both bug and normal have a 90 BP special move. No, not Signal Beam and Hyper Beam, but Bug Buzz and Hyper Voice. Does /vp/ really know this little about its own topic?
