ITT: make a Pokémon unique in the metagame with added moves, stat changes, abilities, regional forms, or megas
A lot of older Pokémon have lost their niche in the metagame, getting upstaged by other mon who simply do it better. So, try to make a mon more unique without being drastically broken. Not every mon needs a signature however, maybe a new movepool or some stat changes are enough to give it it's niche.

New Ability: Ivory Might
All bite-based attacks are multiplied in power by 1.5 (Strong Jaw) and Super Fang is no longer resisted by Rock and Steel
Doesn't have to be a mega ability, but can be. Basically supposed to reclaim Super Fang for Raticate, despite it no longer being its signature. Also alludes to its Dex entry saying it can chew through steel and concrete.

Gets moves like Heat Wave, Overheat, and Charge Beam

New move: Sky Drill
Status move that lifts Fearow into the sky, like in two-turn moves like Fly or Bounce. However, once in the sky, Fearow can choose from its three other moves to perform from up high. This chosen move is guaranteed to go first, allowing Fearow to get attacked as it comes down. Status moves cannot miss and damaging moves (barring OHKO moves) cannot miss and are guaranteed criticals. PP is 5 and will fail in succession.
How broken would that make Fearow?

Don't dig the picture, but with good stats, that'd be the poster child for Sunny Day teams. Immune to fire while benefiting from fire moves AND solar beam.

I like the original one he posted. Its just not really "well drawn" but the idea of it with a burnt face (but also black seed head like a sunflower) is cool. Grass fire would be cool too.

I don't really understand this. Its a move that gives you immunity for one turn like fly, and then on the next turn you get a priority attack of any of your three other moves, and it cant miss?

Didn't get the whole burnt head/black seed concept until now, the second design with a black head would work better
And yes, pretty much. Based off of Dex entries, thought it would give Fearow good damage on any move, what with guaranteed crits and Sniper going hand in hand (as well as guaranteed Status setup if needed). Is that too wonky of an idea? I was assuming it's not too broken because the enemy could anticipate and switch in a different mon once Sky Drill begins.
