I agree. I am playing Red on VC now and I just got to the Safari Zone. I never realized how much I missed this. Just a fun alternative way to catch more mons.

I saw my first-ever shiny in the D/P Great Marsh, and it ran on the first turn. I'm glad the Safari Zone is gone and I hope it never comes back.

What's the in game reason for Safari Zones to exist? Why can't I use my Pokemon?
