Did they choose Mizuki because of how popular it became as a fan-name, or was it her name from the start?
Sometimes fan terms and names end up being used in official media, so it wouldn't be all that surprising if the same thing happened to the SM protagonist.

What I meant by that is whether they decided on using Mizuki as the official name after fans took the trailer name and used it as if it was her real name, or if they decided to make it her name from the get-go. After all, names like Xavier and Whitlea get used but aren't the official names like Calem and Hilda are.

There's also Kai and Rana from the ingame files, but at the same time, DP's rival is referred to as Cedric despite the rival actually being named Jun/Barry.
