>mons
>pokemons
>bulbasaurs, pikachus, eevees, etc
>tapus
why do people do this? Do you also say "look at all those salmons" or "that's a lot of foods?"
Look at all these horses.
Look at all those crabs.

"mons" isn't an official franchise term. "Tapus" is a nickname for the four guardian deities of Alola, so those are fine.
>>33142635
Look at all those cummies.
Look at those mutant dinosaurs
>>33142662
>Looks like your island challenge is coming along favorably. That must be pleasing to the tapu.
>I tried to follow in his footsteps, but I was not chosen by the tapu back then.
>The tapu regularly keep themselves closed tight in their shells as they absorb nature's energy
Look at all these baits.
>>33142635
Look at all of those tasty dicks
>>33142682
>it's bait just because OP called me out on my incorrect grammar
if you're going to be wrong at least own up to it instead of being a faggot.
>>33142713
I think he's referring to the first five posts.
Well, minus >>33142662 I guess.
>>33142635
this >>33142662 but agreed otherwise. It's not a hard concept to grasp, I agree OP.
>>33142635
This happens mostly due to foreign speakers of English, if I had to guess. Some languages simply do not support a word's plural form being identical to its singular form, so a non-native speaker may not have yet caught onto English supporting such.
>>33142990
That's dumb
It's people making plurals out of made up words, nothing more than that
>>33142662
>"Tapus" is a nickname for the four guardian deities of Alola
Tapu (plural) is an official term for them, too.
>>33142662
Mons are fine because it's not an official pokemon term and makes it easy to convey you are referring to many pokemon and not just one
>>33142635
Might as well ask why people say tuna fish
>>33142713
you thought 'mon' was an official term though, elmer
>>33142635
>"that's a lot of foods?"
"I like trying different foods."
