Yo my game crashed once every 3 minutes tonight in Bryant Park (Manhattan) had 6 eggs at 1.6/1.7 game crashed, opened and hatched seconds shy of event. not to mention i missed out on >200k xp cause my s7 crashed every 5minutes or after 2 evos while there.

That said, good news pham, my gf and i hit level 39 tonight - she's so far ahead of me goddamn. she made over half a mil xp in the 2 hours to catch up to her

So crazy idea here. As a compromise to getting 100 coins/day again, what if the game gets an NPC who will pay you 10 coins for every 25 items you give them? Any item, it can be as common as a basic potion, or rare stuff like evolution items or even Rare Candies.

It'll obviously cap at 50 a day, but at least it won't feel like a waste every time you have to delete 200+ items that are just clogging up room. It'll also help those too weak to defend gyms, or spin tons of stops every day.

You could try the Hitmons, and Primeapes.

Also Ursarings have a fighting moveset, and Alakazams can learn Focus Blast but Alakazam can't really be a counter but more of a "maybe it's a good moveset for this hyper specialised case". You could also just throw a max level Dragonite at it.

If I go up and down the Safari Zone in Pokemon Red, I will eventually run into a Chansey. I learned it's location and hunted it down. Took some time maybe but I stuck to it and got a shot at getting it. Will I get it? Maybe, but if I don't I know where to get another one.
Now compare that to

Now I'm fine with the way this game is for a while. Sure, there are Pokemon I have seen only once or twice despite playing for like 9 months, but I'm having a fun time. I know that if I keep trying, keep walking, playing when I travel, hatching eggs, I'll EVENTUALLY get there. It is about the journey, not the destination after all.
What I don't want is for there to be tacked onto it another dice roll of 1/1000 odds to get shinies. Tell me git gud all you want, unless I become a dirty spoofer I doubt I would be able to even get that many shinies.
Now I will admit shiny mechanics would probably emulate IV/CP/Sitto mechanics judging by how this game works, so the community could help make it much more conceivable a challenge. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad.
TLDR- I'm fine with a challenge that your victory is controllable, but there are too many variables I see. Maybe it's not as bad as I'm making it out though, I'm second guessing myself.

All the charge moves are pretty shit on Lickitung for various reasons. Hyper Beam sucks because it's so dodgeable, Stomp just plain sucks even with STAB but fires it off more often, and Power Whip is not STAB.

As long as you have Zen Headbutt, just go with your choice of Stomp or Hyper Beam if you're sticking it in gyms I guess. Defending movesets were always a dumb meme though so I'd just go with attacking moveset personally.

I think the speed cap for hitting stops while moving with the Go+ is just higher than the game itself. I've definitely been driving past a stop at 40-50mph and triggered the stop, but it's not 100%.
