Why everyone wants more megas for USM? and most importantly,

i wouldn't mind if there weren't megas, but since there are megas i want them to be distributed to more pokemon

I hope that if more Megas do come around we see more stuff like Mega Beedrill and Mega Glalie rather than more pseudos getting Megas. I'd rather be see some shitmons get a chance at being viable than Pokemon that are already good.

for me, its either OCD or pokemon that desperatley need them,

e.g. beedrill got a mega, but not butterfree, so butterfree will just stay cucked

This pretty much. They weren't necesary but they are here so better use them.

My biggest issue with them is how its executed in-universe, the power stone is too abused in media and in pokemon in particular. Also "Mega" is very unimaginative (and while not invented by Digimon it does evoke it).
