Yeah, a ghost which can use Shadow Ball from a 150 SpAtk stat is never going to be OU in this Gen, Ghost is just way too good for that.

The real reason Aegislash is banned is because it counters every single viable physical attacker other than Bisharp and ground types, it has fantastic mixed offenses with good coverage that make it difficult to switch into, and it has one of the best defensive typings in the game with the bulk to back it up.
