Usm got negative reaction when announced. They announced their would be switch games at e3. Gamefreak hasn't said a single word on usm since the announcement. The switch game are confirmed for 2018 or later. The temp dev contract ends may 2018, confirming a 2018 gen 8 release. Gamefreak and nintendo know people want these games.

If USM has a disappointment in opening sales. I can see it

The announce a switch games. Casuals crazy over that

They announce sun and moon are games for championships next year.

If you play vgc there is no incentive to buy USM right away

Shit taste. One of the worst parts of SM is how the changes to the graphics engine clash with the cel-shading when XY basically got it as good as it can be for 3DS.
