Never had such an interaction. I don't bother with the chat except to rile up people flipping out. My favorite time was back in Gen 5 when I opened with Umbreon and the opponent opened with Rhyperior.

My Umbreon was defensive and they hit near the damage roll minimum meaning it didn't die first hit despite being a banded one then they proceeded to miss the next two Megahorn and freaked the fuck out.

And then it got even funnier because someone joined to watch in the middle of their childish ranting and before I even had a chance, they started fucking with them. Best 10 minutes on Showdown ever.
