>Opponent has Mega Mawile
>All I have to do is click Fire Blast since Eruption would be met with Sucker Punch which I'd live but would obviously weaken Eruption
>Sucker Punch crits to OHKO

The second time, I was nervously reassuring myself it couldn't possibly happen two games in a row, but then it did.

>I can do this
>"Ass Greninja used Hydro Pump!

>....
>Mienshao used high jump kick!
>Its super effective! Ass Greninja fainted!

I was playing FireRed fighting Agatha in the Elite 4, my Lapras vs her Golbat. she hits me with confuse ray, I hit her with an ice beam but the damn thing lives on a small amount of HP. I then do nothing but hit myself for god knows how many turns, and the stupid golbat either A confuses me again, or B hit me with air cutter which constantly crits
