Lads, I think I found a glitch. Need more testers.

After completing an Articuno raid, I was in the process of trying to catch it. It's CP was 1607. My game then froze. I paniced and restarted the app, only to see I was now trying to catch a 1642(I think, may have been 1644) Articuno. So I closed the app on purpose and reopened it. This time Articuno was 1656.

So I'm thinking that if you close the app during a raid boss capture screen and then reopen the game, you can keep resetting it's CP. Like soft-resetting for shinies in the handhelds.

Going to try this later after work. Need some of you to do it too so we have more data.

Saw the first dragonite I've ever seen around my house, went to go outside and realised our neighbour was creeping about (We've had to call the cops on him several times/he broke into our house a few weeks ago) so I got too scared to go out.

In the end thought fuck it and after 10 mins of trying to drift to it from my house I ran out of the back door and got them, it took 24 ultra balls/gold razzes.

Did I do good? He's only 1100 cp but it's nice to finally own one. I'm a retard so I'm now crying in my house over having to see the asshole next door but I keep looking at my new poke.

Don't spoof to another state without giving it a few hours to plausibly arrive there first. Anything else is completely fine.

If you're super paranoid, always start the gps at where you currently are then joystick walk your way over there. But since it only checks where you are when you finish catching a mon or spin a stop, as long as the time and distance between those seems reasonable you should never have a single issue.

BTW, if you're feeling really adventurous, and want to grab unowns, since it only checks where you are when you catch, you can warp to them halfway across the world, engage, then shift your gps back and catch them, that way your catch is registered as being still nearby to your last one. This game has done something for me that I haven't been able to accomplish myself: It turned me into a morning person.
I could never get the hang of going to sleep early or getting up in the mornings, I would place the alarm clock in another room and I'd sleepwalk to turn it off and wake up at 1pm with no memory of it.
When I started playing this game, though, I quickly remembered my shithole of a neighborhood turns into "don't take your phone out" territory as early as 4pm. I decided to wake up early one day. The prospect of wasting my fucking time playing a shitty dead mobile game somehow got me up, and guess what I discovered?
There's NOBODY on the streets at 9am. It's like a bomb had been dropped. Literally not one person for blocks.
I went to the local park and the park caretaker was amazed I was physically there.
Every morning now I wake up and have the city to myself for two hours. It's great. And goddamit even though any time spent in this shit game is wasted time, I still do it because it motivates me to be a morning person.

Congrats! Thats where I was a month or so ago. This weekend's buddy distance help got me my Ampharos walking to all the legendary raids. Took me 13 to get both lugia and articuno. Now its just unkown. I have no way to try and get it.

Spoofers in Lugia raids had intense lag around the area of go fest yesterday even though they are likely on their home high speed wifi and not a over loaded cell phone tower. Your opinion on spoofing does not matter the point stands that all players had intense bouts of lag if their character was in the Chicago area. Was part of the problem from the lack of cell on wheels?Absolutely but to say absolutely none of this is Niantic fault is ridiculous as lag is experienced just from being on their servers if your avatar is in the 2 miles radius of go fest.
