Nothing wrong with it at all. I love it for two big reasons.

I inject and encourage others to, as well. The breedfag salt only makes it better.

I have no real problem with it, I breed all my mons because I'm an autist with nothing better to do than play shitty RNG (and I like wondertrading neat breedjects), but I'm not opposed to using hacked parents myself

I have the ability to do it, but I don't, because I don't think it's fair towards the people whom I'll be playing with. I'm against using clearly hacked mons myself, even for breeding.
That said, I don't really care if you do, as long as you keep it to yourself, or only make legal stuff, and don't go distribution-whoring it around WT or GTS. Don't ruin the game for others.

It's shit and people who not only do it for themselves but also share the crap they hack is even worse. If you just like battling with stuff that you didn't work for then just play showdown instead of ruining the game. Also there's so many people saying that they hack to save time and focus on competitive, and still half of them suck at that lol (easily noticeable when you fight a guy with a 6 shiny team). Breeding and training is incredibly easy and fast this gen once you're setup, there's no excuse, they're just lazy asses.

Completely A-OK if you're battling just for fun with friends or roulette or whatever.

Don't inject if you're battling for real, especially in vgc, where you get real prize money for winning. Injecting here is like using steroids in sports.

Only thing I don't like about it is the people who put hacked shit on the GTS or wonder trade. I inject for competitive but I keep them to myself only.

Except you can, the filters suck. Make a shiny tapu fini, trade it, it works. Make a HA primarina, trade it, it works. Make a heavy ball beldum, trade it, it works. Make a beast ball porygon2, trade it, it works.
It just filters the most blatantly hacked stuff, but GF is too incompetent to maintain proper filters.

I dont mind as long as people arent hacking in shinies. Like i can breed a 6 IV pokemon in maybe 2 hours of work so its not really a big deal if people just skip that. Injecting shinies kind of kills the fun of having something rare.

I think there's limits. don't use injected pokemon against people who don't like or know about it. don't trade injected pokemon to people who don't like or know about it. etc.

personally, I've only injected (or had other people inject, to be accurate) for certain pokemon in sorta obtainable pokeballs (usually stuff that was available in dreamworld, but isn't now).
I feel like that's fair, since the series allowed it, and since they took down dreamworld, I don't have any alternatives.

So I have a legitimate question about this, pardon my noobness. I recently got Moon like a month ago and before that I haven't played since Ruby was the current gen. I got some pokemon via GTS that were obviously hacked (lvl 100, shiny, perfect IVs, things from previous games like gen 5/6 and rare pokeballs). Now what I don't understand is if I use them to battle in Singles or Doubles, and my opponent has a Pokémon with all 6IVs that he bred himself, wouldn't we be on a level playing field power-wise?

I'm honestly too lazy to inject and just want to level stuff and make teams to play against my friends but if there are competitive ladders and tournaments for money then wouldn't it make sense to inject? Otherwise you would have to spend a lot of time breeding for the perfect nature, and IVs, and inheritable moves, then multiply that time by however many Pokémon you want to have battle ready and there's 800 or so mons on top of probably needing two or more of the same species with different moves or natutes ... which sounds like a lot of fucking time compared to just using a program to get your ideal fighter. Why would any serious competitive player take the long route when they can get a premade Pokémon and battle immediately? And is using the QR code teams seen as negatively as injecting? Since you just scan to get a battle ready team instead of breeding?

And regarding QR codes there's nothing negative seen about them. Using popular QR teams even puts you at a disadvantage since people can easily look it up while playing to know all the sets and items.
