Learns Moon Blast.
I'd rather have Simple on Meganium.
Meganiumite
Meganium +Fur Coat
80/82/100/83/100/80
/+20/+40/+40/
80/82/120/123/140/80
This is what I've wanted for Meg for a while now. I like the idea of it sprouting really fine feathers and making it look like it has a luxurious fur coat, hence Fur Coat. Plus, 80/120/140 with Fur Coat would be pretty incredible imo. It would be able to hit, like, 700+ Def, right?

748, after Fur Coat modifier and with full Def investment.

Thanks for the calc. I'd be hoping it would help it endure a lot more of the metagame than it would otherwise. I could see it walling Chomp and Zygarde completely, bar Poison Jab or something.
with 120 base def:
+2 252 Atk Life Orb Garchomp Poison Jab vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Fur Coat Meganium: 146-172 (40.1 - 47.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
I forgot to change Chomp's nature, but I think it's still really relevant. To be completely honest I didn't expect it to take it so well.

Not a problem.
I like the idea overall, but I'd put points into Atk instead of SpA. I like Meganium as a bulky setup sweeper.

Never thought about it that way, but feel free to make it your own. I could see gf doing something like 20 Atk/ 20 SpAtk anyway.
>>33099064
If it were that way, (or even identical to yours, but with the 40 from SpA instead in Atk), I could go with a build like this:
Meganium@Meganiumnium
248 HP/8 Atk/252 SpD
+SpD/-SpA nature
>Swords Dance
>Synthesis
>Petal Blizzard
>Earthquake
Meganium has practically no coverage, but less special than physical (not counting Hidden Power).
