Pidove is my favorite early bird line too!

I love my shiny green Tranquill. The rest of the line doesn't keep that color, so I kept it unevolved. And I would've loved seeing her with Unfezant's mask, but it's a female.

I used one in my Black playthrough. It wasn't good by any stretch, but it certainly wasn't bad either. I also own a Shiny male Unfezant, so because of all of this, I sort of like Unfezant. But between the two genders, I prefer female Unfezant, but only because I prefer its color palette.

I play with a few friends every friday at our Pokemon league. We do four player battle royals. I basically take whatever shit I breed that week and mess around with it for fun.

Ended up using power herb + sky attack Unfezent and had some fun with it. Thanks to Super Luck + Sky Attack's high crit ratio, the attack crits half the time and absolutely maims what it doesn't outright kill.

It's a fun little gimmick and the only reason to use Unfezent I can think of outside of Night Slashing Anger Point Krookodile in doubles.

I swear these two remind me of these other two so much. I don't know why. I suppose it's because the male on looks like a romantic with the 'mask', and their designs both have a lot of black. I always name my Unfezant either Gomez or Morticia, though.

Tranquill reminds me of the crazy pidgeon lady from Home Alone....2, I think? Especially because of the hair. Dunno who Pidove reminds me of....

I have no idea how they could fuck up Pidove so hard

I lie Unfezant but I actually like the female one better. The male one is okay but I like the female's colors with the brown and black Earth tones better.

Not my least favorite either. That goes to Swellow. Swellow is not very interesting and was kinda boring to train, I dumped it for Skarmory on my Sapphire version.

I really like them too. Unfezant just needs any good Flying Stab move. Aerial ace has a low BP, Sky Attack is useless without Power herb, and Fly is Fly.
If they got Acrobatics, then Power Herb/Sky Attack/Acrobatics Shenanigans could be fun.
Also it desperately needed the 10 extra points in speed instead of attack. Both are still lower than Staraptor's. But if the 10 points went into speed it would have a good speed tier of 103 and still have a decent attack of 105.

right now it's limited to air slash and night slash

At the very least it needs slash for a physical STAB crit move and at least one other move so it can go for a 3 attack - filler set (u-turn, tailwind, hypnosis, taunt)
drill run seems most appropriate and would give it a fairly decent coverage

course in a perfect world it gets a unique flying type physical attack with 80+ bp and high crit chance

Both are bad,but the movepool is the biggest problem.It needs 10 Spe to have a acceptable stat spread,but it needs 60+ BP on physical Flying moves and at least 80+ on Ground/Grass/Fighting moves to not have a shitty movepool.
