Gonna help out: I used waifu2x's highest noise removal setting to clean up the lines and remove edge artifacting. Looks a lot cleaner now, but a slight bit of detail was lost; but it's barely noticable. Let this also double as a mini-PSA: waifu2x is pretty useful for noise and artifact removal, and upscaling.

For some reason, you've managed to mess up the aspect ratio of the images. Considering the way the lines are, you should probably keep the edits the same size as the source. Also, it looks like you're editing on a pre-existing layer; if showing off a preview or finalizing an edit, disable the visibility of the pre-existing layer.

Also, yeah I noticed after I posted those that the ratios and such were kinda off. Looked alright on my screen but became was obivously worse when I uploaded the images; I'm redoing them now anyways. As for the other bits, the request asked for them to be 1200x1200 so i just made them that size but again i messed up on that bit so im fixing that.

Also, as for what layer i did the edits on I keep all the bases and source images on the bottom or below what im editing and then created another layer above it and drew there. So i can't really disable visibility for the layers since I need certain bits from each and I only can turn off the top 2 since the smiles/hands are different.

Yeah i noticed the hair bit before posting but figured it was a quirk of the source image rather than me messing up since the next batch of hair under there near the bottom of the pic has some odd linework. Thanks a ton though for the neck bit though, i missed that 100%.

As for why its different, the two images have very slight differences between them so not all the lines match up. Mainly things like minor hair angles and such.

Alright working on these again and I'm about 1/2 done it total. I've finished >>33074528 and the one attached here. If there are any complaints about the elbows not matching the concept art, there isnt much I can do. There is no reference for her elbows and dress in that pic that is visible due to the massive white blocks so I had to improvised. I used the elbows in the other shots as reference to work out a general outline for them but there is only so much I can do.

The main problem is the amount of feet request in the thread is starting to get kinda overboard. If someone wants to ask for a feet request here and there its fine but not everything has to be barefoot. Wether or not you're into feet is up to you but seeing multiple "make [ ] barefoot" and then a barefoot pic isnt very interesting. To begin with someone asking for so many request and probably not giving any edits back themselves is not ok. If you are going to go all out request stuff then try filling out a request or two while your at it. Besides, even if its not great you're at least getting practice and eventually do the foot edits yourselves.


As for r63/genderswaps while I'm not into them they are more varried than feet pics and how someone can r63 a character is up to them. If the anons requesting feet pics want stuff like "add sandals" or "high heels" that would add some variety at least but at the momment its just boring to watch.

It's less about feet requests and more about how any edit that's arguably a fetish would be seen as "bad." The only reason why I pointed out genderswaps as fetish material is to prevent selective enforcement and edit threads in on themselves are niche as it is. If one particular kind of request is bothering the editfags here, rather than express frustration against that try canvassing for suggestions of stuff you WILL do or like, express boundaries. It's not going to kill you to say "No, I don't want to do that." if someone comes to you with that something you're not crazy about.

I'm not sure which lines you're refering to but the only lines I ever changed was the part of the dress on the left and both elbows.If you mean anything on outside of her silhouette like bits of hair and such then its was just like that to begin with. As for why the lines were blurry its the only brush I had that remotely close to what you see in pokemon artwork. Other ones I have just don't match the artwork at all.I've looked around for others and nothing really came up from it but if you happen to find good one i'd be happy to fix it.

Hey, >>33104143 here. To be fair I was more so complain on the number of feet pics being the problem and anons requesting multiple times without doing giving back. Try thinking of the thread like /wsr/ or /r/ where sure you can request stuff but also try seeing if there is anything you can do for others.

As for saying no to pics i don't want to do, yes as a long time editfag here I've turned down a fair bit of requests that were directed at me or pics I've made. However these request are just responding to random pics or just asking for stuff without giving refs and ect. It'd be pointless to me to just respond to 5-10 different posts and simply say no to something that wasnt directed at me. Alright i can see what you are talking about. Apparently photoshop REALLY doesnt like it when I copy paste pieces from >>33070942 and place it on a canvas of the exact same size. For the record though I never touched the size but it made it blurry anyways which is strange. As for changing the lines I did for her elbows and dress there isn't much I can do. Hopefully >>33091144 responds to >>33104200 because some good brushes would be a big help in the long run. I also have cps but while the brushes are good I still can't match the linework to pokemon pics that well. For now I'll wait and see if they get a response but if not i'll just try again and see how close i can get.

Your lines are very good, it's just that your coloring needs work. Also, the left eye is lacking parts (see upscaled image here >>33142304 ) and the smile isn't quite as curved as it should be. Other than that, lines are perfect.
