>muh level curve
>muh grinding
convince me that the people who complain about these things in pre-gen 6 games aren't just shit at pokemon.
>WAAAAH I NEED TO BE 5 LEVELS HIGHER THAN THIS NPC TO BEAT THEM ;_;
>>33062621
>needing to grind in Pokemon ever
but why? battle items exist if you're having that much trouble
>>33062621
Shut up and go fetch me a beer, faggot.
>>33062625
Exactly. Yet shitters complain about needing to grind anyway.
>people unironically exist that believe a jrpg can be a jrpg without level grinding
>people unironically want a non-jrpg pokemon
>>33062634
>literally any Mario RPG
>>33062778
>he doesn't try to get optimal items
>>33062634
This is exactly why traditional JRPG's are a nearly dead genre. The few JRPG's that exist have more involved gameplay than turn-based combat and adjust the level curve to need as little grinding as possible.
Except Pokemon, because Gamefreak are hopelessly behind the times and their one-hit wonder series can't catch up to modern standards of framerates, let alone gaming.

well this gen is a real issue due hipertrain only available in level 100 and before you said "just breed it lol" is the only way to get a "perfect" legendary without IV soft reset and breed itself is even more shitty that just EV/level grind
>inb4 injectionfags
no one have a suitable 3DS for that
>>33062634
>Liking grinding
>>33062621
youre right so
Most people complain since trainer rematches in HGSS are too random to actually grind on
Vs. Seeker is cool though, wish it would come back.

Few JRPGs after 1990 need you to level grind. In most of them you'll be properly leveled or even overleveled if you fight everything you come across without trying.
