Just like how Megas did so.
Nobody knew what they'd do at first. Once their effects were revealed people mostly thought the support/boosting moves would be used while the offensive Z-Moves would never get used and this was everywhere, not just on /vp/. Then people started using Z-Offensive moves and breaking shit left and right.
I just thought thematically, they seam like a step down from an entire form. It didn't help that they revealed them by having first stagers using them in the reveal.
