I never said it's better than gen4 I said it was pretty decent. It's not a horrible stallfest like gen 2, a luckfest like gen1 or a forced weather war like 5, it's just decent with plenty of viable options albeit a lot of them are too overwhelming.

Duggy's just one of many problems that plague this meta. It just happens to be one of the most cancerous ones because Arena Trap is a stupid fucking ability with legit no counterplay for the cores it's found in.

Greninja's still as broken as ever, and he's got a new form that's just as dumb. Whenever you see it on team preview you have to play "guess the set :^)". Same goes for Magearna, which has no reliable checks outside stall. Zygarde has pretty much the most broken signature move in the game next to Marshadow's. At least Pheromosa and MGross are gone.
