Simple. Zinnia's not a bad character.

Why do people dislike Zinnia? She was interesting, and a decent battle.

Her themes, just like Wally's battle theme, seriously conflict with the rest of the soundtrack and stick out like a sore thumb. The low-quality instruments don't help it much, either.

She has no proof to her claim, but she knows she's right. and she is right. She knows no one is going to believe her and use the device themselves, so she just destroys it so they can't and fuck everything up.

The reason smart people hate zinnia is because results-oriented thinking is a 100% retarded way to think about things.

If 1000 people buy lottery tickets, and one person makes more money than they spent, that logically can't mean that the one person made a better decision than the other 999. They all made the same decision, it just so happens that it worked out better for some of them.

Zinnia's actions are that of a villain. Just because some of her baseless claims and evil actions turned out for the best doesn't change this. After all, the world turned out fine after Cyrus tried to destroy it, so if we apply the same retarded results-oriented thinking to his character, both Zinnia AND Cyrus are good guys!

Not a good character comparison. Zinnia, even if her attempts were villainous, at the very least were meant for the benefit of the world. Cyrus, meanwhile, was a very selfish person who was fully fine wiht destroying the original world, so long as he got his solitude. Archie and Maxie, or even N would be a more apt comparison, due to the fact that they believe what they are doing is good for the world.
