Because you're completely disregarding a US release even though GF has now switched to the international model now. One single release period for a country is null at this point. If you're going by patterns, all that matters now is the time between the latest game release and the newest game announcement, which the last case of this was three fucking months. January is way too early. February is optimal because of the popularity of wanting a core Switch game to be announced soon and for pre orders to spike early on in the year.
